My good friend and I went shopping at one of those colorful little boutiques that stocks things like odd toys, colorful and artistic home decor, letterpressed and silkscreened arts and crafts, and the like. She described it as a "pokey" store, which was an unusual word, but I knew instantly what she meant. I aim for this blog to focus primarily on things of a "pokey" nature.
